I hate spoilers...somebody who saw the midnight premier of Star Wars last night just told me that Anakin Skywalker is really Darth Vader.

That's nothing. When my dad left a showing of "Titanic", he told people waiting to go in that the boat sank.

Have you heard about 'The Crying Game'? ;-)

(In seriousness, a friend of mine came out a theater showing TCG, and shouted the secret out to the people waiting for the next showing. He got chased down the street.)

omg LOL I would love to have seen that (the chase, not the movie, I've only seen bits of the movie :P but in all honesty...boy george sings the title song, what did you *think* was going on??)

I'd have loved to see the chase, too! I was told about it later.

Fine comic, isn't it? Very 'Calvin & Hobbes' in its style.

I haven't kept up with any online comics (saving maybe two) lately but very fine comic... used to agree on the second point too, and I agree with something the author wrote about how it's hard not to be influenced by Calvin & Hobbes — especially when you have some similar goals, I expect! — hrm.

Let me think about that *g* Not sure what I would mean by style for that matter; the content is different - the increasing emphasis on Zen as understood by the author, say... but that's not the same question!

Happy to! Really, I should include that and a few other such in my 'humor' memories; he's very good, as is [info]illian.
Hoping your operation goes flying-colors well, do you have an appointment yet?

nope not yet. I have my first 2 (of 3) psych evals scheduled for 6/30 and 7/15. Then once I get the 3rd one out of the way, the psych's eval goes to the surgeon (hopefully a good one lol) and then the surgeon requests approval. Once they get it (again hopefully lol) I get a surgical consult where he'll tell me if there's any other tests he wants to run (blood, heart, sleep, etc) and I should then get a date within about a month of that.

I didn't recognize the name of the operation back when you mentioned it, but that's what reference sources are for it's true - agree as to the rest and best luck again.

About the Daily Show, you can subscribe to their website as a LJ feed [info]daily_show (as with [info]wilwheaton. Though it hasn't updated in awhile, and not for any obvious problem either... unfortunate. Maybe it'll start again, there may be another feed pointing to a new URL.)
